Elizabeth Kenny

Kenny’s Tae Kwon Do Owner & Head Instructor

Elizabeth Kenny has been the owner, operator and head instructor of Kenny’s Tae Kwon do since its inception in 2005. Miss Kenny has over 25 years experience in Moo Duk Kwon Tae Kwon Do, having trained under long New England martial arts instructors Ed Budd, Denise Rouleau and Deborah Holley. 
 
Miss Kenny earned her 1st Dan Black Belt in 1999, and has progressed to a 5th Dan since then. She has trained hundreds of students in the Twin State area, and is has taught for 18 years in the Monadnock area after school programs.
 

Additionally, Miss Kenny has competed nationally, picking up major Grand Championship wins across sparring and forms divisions. She is the owner and promoter of the New England Classic for 18 years, a yearly open martial arts tournament on the regional IPPONE circuit. Miss Kenny was inducted into the IPPONE Hall of Fame in 2005. She is a lifelong New Englander and lives in Westmoreland with her husband Nate and two children.

Our Team

Allison Borges

Allie Borges began martial arts in 1986 in New Hampshire, and has continued studying Moo Duk Kwon Tae Kwon Do under the instruction of Grandmaster Edwin Budd in 1991.

Allie received her black belt in 1994, and has since continued to train her way up to fourth dan (level) black belt.  

She has competed nationally at hundreds of competitions, and has taken home many top honors. Allie is the lead instructor of the Tiny Tigers Program and is the assistant instructor for our Wednesday night classes. 

Alec Laflamme

Alec Laflamme started his martial arts journey with Miss Kenny when he was five years old in the Fitzwilliam after school karate class. He has excelled through the years and worked hard to achieve his third dan (level) black belt. He now teaches weapons and advanced belt classes. Alec is a student at Keene State University studying sports medicine. 

Anna Ciglar

Anne Ciglar has been with Kenny’s Tae Kwon Do for eight years, and assists in teaching in all classes. Anna competes regularly and is a well-known figure on the New England competition circuit. She is New Hampshire native and a graduate of Boston University.
