Martial arts is for everyone.

It’s never too late to learn something new and discover a new passion.

Our adult martial arts classes are for those high school ages and above, and have a focus on not just learning Tae Kwon Do, but on fitness, creating community, and providing an outlet for adults to focus and find passion through martial arts.

What does a typical adult Tae Kwon Do class look like?

Every adult class runs for one full hour and are mainly taught by Miss Kenny. Students start with a brief warm up – focusing on stretching and calisthenics that are much needed – especially as we sit on computers more and more! Some of the main drills that can be expected are:

  • Tae kwon do basics
  • Kicks and hand techniques
  • Self-defense
  • Forms practice
  • Full-body fitness, cardio and calisthenics
  • Sparring drills and parter practice
  • Stretching & flexibility training

What type of experience do I need to join classes?

None needed! We are happy to have adult students of all backgrounds, ages and experience levels join.
